However, when I right click an audio even and choose 'Open Copy in Sound Forge' I get the message 'Registration of Sound Forge Pro 11.0 requires elevated privileges' etc. When I click Next the User Account Control comes up but when I click Yes nothing happens. However, If I right click the VP13 icon on the taskbar, right click Vegas Pro 13.0 (64-bit)and choose 'Run as Administrator', the User Account Control comes up. This time if I click Yes VP13 launches fine and I can right click an audio file on the timeline, select' Open Copy in Sound Forge' and it opens fine. So I can run all the programs by some means so all is fine, but why do they launch in different ways? It would help if there was some consistency here for all the programs so any suggestions about this inconsistency would be most welcome.įor your PC running Windows 10, did you do the "Free" upgrade from Windows 7/8/8.1? Did you buy a PC with Windows 10 on it, or build one with a fresh install of Windows 10? If you "Upgraded", did you perform a "Fresh Re-Install"?
